Full-Spectrum Doula Care in Denver, CO & Beyond

I’m Cass — your queer Denver doula working at the intersection of heart and humor. I support humans during birth, postpartum, trying to conceive, loss, & more.

What's a doula?

Doulas are non-medical support professionals trained to help you navigate what you need AND what you want in moments of transition. As a full-spectrum doula, my training goes beyond birth to all the little moments before, after, and in-between.

Types of Doula Support

Birth Doula Package

What’s included in my standard* birth support package:

  • Two educational, birth planning sessions to talk about what to expect & your visions for the pregnancy, delivery, & postpartum (this includes development of a birth plan)

  • Text & phone support leading up to the birth with 24/7 on-call support starting 2 weeks before your due date until delivery

  • Hands-on physical, emotional, & educational support during your labor and delivery until 1-2 hours after, basic baby lactation support is included

  • One postpartum check-in to discuss your birth experience & help you feel ready to take on this new chapter

  • *Remember when I said I don’t do one-size fits all? Well, I don’t! However, it’s often helpful for people to understand the “industry norms” for a birth doula package. We can do the things listed here, or less, or more, based on your specific needs. Starting with this general flow does work well for many birthing people and can be modified as we go.

2SLGBTQIA+ Family Planning

Building or growing your family as queer people can be a logistics overload. But you don’t have to go it alone. The unique challenges queer and trans folks face on the journey to parenthood is the reason I became a doula. Because the path to conception is far from linear for many, I offer 100% personalized support. Whether you want help preparing your finances, finding an inclusive midwife or OBGYN, trying at-home IUC, understanding IVF, discussing supplements, or needing someone to scream into the void with, I got you.

Trying to Conceive, Fertility Support, & Birth Education

I love to yap. And yapping about babies, birth, and bodies is my absolute favorite. Whether you are a Type A planner or an air sign, a little prep goes a long way. I provide in-person and virtual support to help you learn about your options and feel more empowered and in the know at any phase of your reproductive journey. Want to meet once? Want to meet weekly? Great! I tailor my pricing and packages to your life and your needs. If you need a birth bestie, give me a ring.

Kind Words

  • "Cass was hands down one of the best decisions I made for my pregnancy and birth. They are calm, grounding, and incredibly knowledgeable, and made me feel supported and confident every step of the way. I am so grateful for their care and presence and cannot recommend them enough."

    —Abby, Birth Doula Client

  • "Cass provided compassionate care and created a fun recovery environment during my first week postpartum. Thanks to Cass' work, I could focus on resting and healing because I knew all the details were getting covered. They made sure I ate, pumped, took my medicines appropriately, and encouraged me to take things slower than I would have on my own."

    —Darcy, Postpartum C-Section Recovery Support

  • "Cass was an excellent choice for a doula. They provided emotional and physical support through all 22 hours of my labor and she was able to serve as my advocate for both visitors and medical staff. I felt informed and as comfortable as I could be."

    —Erin, Birth Doula Client
